People talk shit on the pax, but I love mine. Yes it was expensive, but considering I haven't taken a single combustion rip since I bought it 3 months ago makes it entirely worth the price-tag (for me at least).
I think the people that bash it either don't clean it well/properly, or they are ripping it wrong (micropuffs=$$, think of it as puffing a blunt/cigar/joint rather than just sucking down on a pipe). I've had several older-generation desktop vapes (HotBox, Volacano, etc.), and my Pax rips just as well (if not better) in half the heating time without cumbersome accessories (whips, bags, etc.).
The only other portable I've tried is the VaporBlunt2.0, and that thing is HUGE compared to my Pax. Didn't get nearly as dense of clouds either. It'd be pretty tough to beat the Pax in terms of sleek/discreet factor; I've ripped mine outside of bars, on lunchbreaks at work, even at crowded sporting-events, and people just think it's a funny-smelling Ecig.
