how do they work on anything other than powder...meaning...groomers...park..ICE...etc...i'm having second thoughts about my 177 Karma's I have on layaway...and am thinking of maybe getting the pistols in a 179.

don't do that! i went from the pistol to the karma. the karma is faar more stable and has way better edge grip then the pistol.

Yeah go with the karma for sure, especially if you want a ski better for all around conditions.

I am waiting for 'my' rep to get me the 189's. I am coming off of a pair of 182 2002 motherships, so I will be sure to post a review/comparison of them bad dogs. What I have heard so far is that the harder you drive them the better they preform, so I will put that to the test.
