Ridiculous

I am currently in an entrepreneurship 30 class and I need some ideas for a start up. I was thinking about doing something related to the ski/snowboard industry but i am not sure what. Is there anything that you guys would like to see on the market? Whether it relates to riding, technology,summer,clothing, etc I want to hear what you all have to say and I would appreciate it if you helped me out.

Isn't that one of the biggest parts of being an entrepreneur? Figuring out what you want to do and then working to make that vision happen?

What are you interested in? What do you feel the world is lacking? What are the flaws with existing products around you and what do you suggest to make them better?

I wish there was a bullet proof rake that you could trust anyone with because they wouldn't be able to destroy it. Broken rakes suck. If you could make a good rake, put it through ridiculous over the top abuse, lend it to kids to rake jumps and show me it's still like new I might be interested.

If you've been skiing for a while you know to an extent what is going on. For one person making super durable water proof pants might be the route they want to go, for somebody else some crazy new gps mapping system for mountains.

There has to be something that has made you think "why the hell don't we have that yet" or "this sucks but would be awesome if it was built like this"

you know how they have those photographers that go to night club events and they take photos of you and your friends, and then give you their business card and you can go to the website and view the photos from the evening?

Do this, but in the park. Take photos of kids doing jumps and take camera footage too. Hand out your cards and also have some advertisements in the lodge, on banners/boxes, etc. Then when people go to your site they can view the photos/video with a watermark and for a small fee they can upload the real thing of themselves.

Actually, the real money would be in those that don't typically take video/pictures--- so your middle-agers with children. Kids in the park usually have cameras...either way, take this idea and run with it.
