Whistler and Vail are both resorts that I've really been wanting to go to and I'm curious about Vail in particular in terms of lift lines - I would like to go to Vail but I would hate to hit it in the middle of winter and get hour-long lift lines because its such a popular resort. I've skiied Copper and Keystone and those were great because there were hardly any lines there.
I guess I'm just afraid that Vail is such a tourist trap and the lines are gonna be crazy long for any lift. Can anyone speak about that for Vail, Whistley, or any other major Western resort?
