Replying to Advice for Being a Gypsy at Mt. Hood?

Hey NS. I know that next summer is a ways away, but a few friends and I want to move up to Hood next summer and live out of tents. I just want to know any advice people have who have done it in the past. I know that this thread: https://www.newschoolers.com/ns/forums/readthread/thread_id/379775/page/2/ is chockfull of advice, but it doesn't say too much about living in tents. Any help would be appreciated. Also, +k for helpful posts.
