What super power, and where have you seen it

Its a classic. What superpower would you have, and what was the first movie/comic book/novel that you saw/read that featured that power.

For me it would be the ability to "jump" from the movie Jumper. I could surf in Hawaii, then jump to some crazy backcountry peak. Not to mention the new ease lapping parks would have, and the irrelevance of lift lines. Get caught in an avy? jump out.

Probably saw it late in elementary school in history.

I would choose them because holy fuck. They managed to scare the whole world while also having one of the largest militaries. (population wise)

so if you had any choice of a superpower, yours would be the ability to quickly travel to facilitate alternating between ski and surfing locations?

@OP I'm not gonna lie It'd either be invisibility(obvious reasons) or being a jumper.

I've got a better way to make a game out of this.
2. click random
3. that is now your super power
4. the last number of your karma determines how good you are at using your power
0,1= not well at all, street punks can still beat you up
2,3= you probably wont get beat up by street punks
4,5= you're a contender to fight off others with powers
6,7= you could probably beat most others in a fight
8,9= you are extremely powerful.

and no rerolls on your powers

i'll go first... i got this http://powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/Inanimation which would have been pretty cool but at the time of writing this my karma ends in a 2 so i guess i can wander in back alleys and not get beat up. oh well.

/i'm pretty bored right now in case you couldnt tell
