the bible does not state that homosecuality is a greater sin than, say, coveting anothers wife...yet we all want to fuck marissa miller and no one feels bad about that.

What i am trying to say is this: there is a shit ton of condoned sin out there in this world, why is homosecuality chosen to be one of the worst?

ooops hahaha i forgot hetero is the oposite of homo. I'm not particularly ok with heteros flaunting their sexual orientation and I never stated that i was.

keep in mind that im only 15 and still developing my worldviews and by doing this thread I have had to do alot of thinking, and I have a paper about MRSA due tomorrow so im super tired hahahaha

it isnt, murder and adultery are the biggest 2, the only reason that people think Christians believe that homosexuality is the greatest sin is because thats what the media says it is and wants you to believe becasuse the media is extremely liberal biased with exception to fox news

Yeah but the way you contrasted proving theories to faith was a subtle (maybe not intentional) way of belittling science. I'm not over-analyzing anything. I'm keeping things short. I'm not really using big words. The last time we had this discussion on NS that I participated in I wrote a lot of big paragraphs. Trust me, these are my short answers that barely scratch the surface of my feelings and insight

indeed i have heard of this other story but never studied it, srry but I have nothing to argue except the fact that you just negated yourself what your saying is that another source says there was a great flood which provides further evidence for there having been a great flood, and trust me there is evidence everywhere that there was a great flood

yea im going to keep this post short, but theres tons of little things that bother me with organized religions. An example would be how purgatory was just made up out of nowhere by the catholic church in the middle ages as a way to make money, as people would pay for indulgences which supposedly would make their passed loved ones get to heaven faster.

going to have to step in here and say that all sins are equal. There isn't a list from greatest to worst. Homosexuality is as much of a sin as lying is.

Everybody struggles with sins, that's just the way it is, whether it's lying, cheating, homosexuality, etc. But you can't say "I struggle with homosexual things just accept it church" because then somebody else could say "I struggle with lying just accept it". See what I'm saying?

sin is sin, period. There is no list of "worse sins". There is however, greater consequences for certain sins. If that makes sense.

There is ZERO evidence of a god.
We DON'T NEED a god.
The bible was written 2000 years ago. It lacks ALL credibility.
Some may ask "how can something come from nothing?" Well, look at vacuum space. Particles are constantly coming from nothing and popping in and out of existence.
There has never been any evidence stating the Earth is any younger than a few billion years old.
Radiometric dating has NEVER been proven wrong.
You only believe in god because your parents told you that's the way it is.
And finally: the most intelligent people in the world, with far higher IQ's than you, don't believe in religion.

So please, religion, go suck your own cock and die somewhere so humans can continue to advance without this nonsense

Im guessing you have yet to learn Apologetics, or anything of that sort in regards to Christianity, so are you are doing here is making yourself, and your beliefs look foolish.
