different shops have different uses
I like fanatyco and skiis and bikes for little things that i might need, ill normally get my skis mounted at one of them for instance
aks preciscion probably does the best tuning in town, but ill only get a bit of work done very rarely, and it certainly wouldnt be on park skis
i go back and forth on TMC its cool weve got a freeride specific shop here, just kind of feels a bit marketed to little kids that want to look like wallisch if you know what i mean. i wouldnt take my skis there to get work done either. They do always hook up a good local discount and what not, and theyre always super chill, so its not all bad by any means.
surefoot...i bought my boots there which entitles me to having unlimited work done on them. I borderline abused this when i first got my boots. Almost everyday i would go in have them make a little adjustment, go ski, come back the next day, make another little change. Kept doing this for a little while, and now i dont think my boots could possibly fit any better.
escape root for backcountry stuff, although you could also call it the expensive root
