I am trying to move to a BC resort for the winter of 2014-2015. I am planning ahead, because I most likely need a job to pay for this year off. I am finding it is really hard to get a work permit. I'm really down to work anywhere. I can always stay in the States, but I would rather make BC (Whistler, Big White, Revelstoke, Sun Peaks, etc..) happen. Through Canadian websites and stuff it sounds like I need to be an engineer or doctor or something to get a work visa. I have a college degree and some work experience, but I'm no doc. Anyone have advice or experience with this? I'm not Australian or British so I can't do the commonwealth visa.
