New Glove Design, Gimme Yo Opinions!

Hey NS! My name's Zack and I'm a recent design grad trying to land a job in the industry. I've been workin on a concept for Dakine for a glove design job and I was hopin to get some feedback from a knowledgeable community. I designed a hybrid glove/mitten, trying to harness all the pros from both and eliminating the cons. The fingers and split in a spock-like fashion, combining your two weaker fingers together to increase their dexterity and combing your two stronger fingers to create balance/symmetry and creating a "super finger" if you will. I feel this will make it a lot easier to multitask and say tweak a grab while keeping a firm grip on your poles (for those who use them). I attached the design attributes, some color concepts and my narrative/explanation. And uh yea thats about it, do your worst!

looks sick.. but look up hestra, i recall seeing a very similar design by them a few seasons ago. might be good to reference for some ideas.

That looks sick.... For some reason it reminds me of something but I don't know what...Deer hoof/ lobster claw?!

Yea Hestra and Celtek both make a mitten that frees up your index finger, I have a pair of Celteks myself and while I dig em, it's an awkward looking design

interesting idea. grabbing with mittens while holding poles is certainly awkward. I've actually given up and started leaving my poles at home on park days now so i can nail grabs.

also make a colorway that is light orange, and call it the lobster claw, or crab claw.

They literally look EXACTLY like the penguin's flippers in Batman. Maybe come up with a Danny DeVito pro model?

Oh I wasn't offended, I did my research, saw those, read reviews and tried to improve on it design-wise. Some of the best technologies get buried because of bad design. I appreciate all input

Kombi had a design called the Lobster Claw about 15 years ago that was pretty much the same as what you're describing.
