Buying new skis, need advice! ~~

I've been skiing for a few years now and I started out with 2011 Line Chronics. Green/black. Ski held up fine and they were really strong coming off jumps ( i'm a noob, so I landed backseat or forwards pretty often, but they were stiff enough to keep me from washing out). I liked these skis, but they're kinda beat up and I got the cash so i'm looking for some new ones.

The ONLY thing I didn't like about these chronics is that they are SO damn heavy. Once I got skiing down and I start to try park/ more rotationals off jumps, the swing weight is absolutely insane. I need lighter skis. Much lighter skis if possible.

Any reccomendations for a LIGHT emphasis on LIGHT, somewhat more buttery than my chronics were, all-mountain/park ski.

Right now i'm looking at 2013 armada el rey's, they're on sale and they don't look bad.

Any feedback is great. No flame pls, I know i'm a noob you don't have to remind me.

To be honest I don't even really know they were ones I just grabbed from the ski shop when I bought them at their sale. I know the bindings aren't heavy though.

Sometimes it's not the binding weight that's the problem it's the location. A park binding is going to have it's weight distributed closer to the boot so you don't have that "swing weight" that you'd feel in another binding.

Personally I noticed a huge difference when I went to marker griffons. I know marker gets a lot of hate, but for lighter weight skiers or skiers that aren't going as hard they are solid bindings that have a noticeably better swing weight then most other bindings.

As for lightweight skis, my Atomic Punx with Griffons are quite light.

They have reduced the weight and swingweight of newer chronics

The el rays are good skis. I you want light though, look at the punx

What year model atomic punx? Are the older year models light too?

Old models are light, but i didn't sure about new Punx 13/14. I heard Atomic changed Punx for new season.

How light are the el rey's? If I get them dead center mounted am I going to feel a lot of swing weight? The 2013 el rey's are on sale right now for a hell of a deal.
