Design my skis.

Right now I'm in the process of setting up my new work shop for ski making, but I have a dilemma I cant make up my mind on what kind of ski to make. One day it is a skinny park ski the next day a ski for the trips out West.

While working on yet another ski design I thought why not turn to you guys on NS to create the next pair of skis. It is  simple just list the specs and the one with the most up votes will be made.

Park/all mtn ski.
120 tip
94 waist
120 tail

Flat underfoot with slight tip/tail rocker
Symmetrical flex.
Stiff underfoot and out in the tip/tail, but soften it up a little where the rocker ends and the flat "camber" begins.

105mm waist. Elliptical sidecut with 25/27 m radius in the middle. Almost symmetrical, 3mm camber underfoot. Med/stiff underfoot. Slighty softer in the tip and tail, with "hinge points" in the tip and tail. And 30mm gradual rocker that is symmetrical in the tip and tail.

These same dimensions (i love these skis) but with playboy graphics. naked chicks on the topsheets and they would sell so fast.

I went with pow skis for my first self built once for different reasons.
1.) pow skis are usually more expensive if you buy them, but the cost of materials for building them are more or less the same as the cost for building park skis
2.) Park skis usually take way more abuse, so I feared that I would rip out edges, destroy my sidewalls etc. way faster then on pow skis. I wanted my selfbuilt skis to last at least a bit and therefor went for pow skis, since in my experience they take way less abuse (I mean they do get scratched by the occaisional rock, but thats nothing compared to hitting metal stuff all the time)
3.) I allready had 2 pairs of park/allmountain skis and wanted some pow skis.

This. Plus (depending where you live) getting to take out your pow skis is a special experience and the feeling of riding your own handmade skis makes it even more special.

Yeah. the nice thing about pow skis is you're always going to have fun on them even if they turn out terrible because you're skiing POW!

Small amount of camber underfoot

Symmetrical rocker in tip/tail (18-20% on each end?)

Small amount of early taper

Soft as f in the very tip and very tail (defined point of change in flex, kinda like a "butter zone")

Gradually stiffer towards boot sole

Symmetrical flex

I see this as a "everything but the deepest days" kinda ski.

go 120-100-120 more all mountain directed but still is nice on rails i love my 100 under foot for park

Sounds like the LINE SFB, with a narrower tip and tail.

that is a poppy version of that ski. he basically explained a version of line chronic's. They would be stiff enough to be poppy, but still be soft enough to butter.

I never will understand the unanimous love for the user-made armada graphics. It's a cool graphic, but just something I wouldn't go out of the way to buy

More of a soft snow/ all mountain ski, but could be taken in the park if you wanted to.

138/112/130

45 cm of rocker in the tip, 45 cm of rocker in the tail. A bit less than normal camber. 25ish meter turning radius. Mount point at -2.
Medium in the tip and tail, then progressively stiffer. Medium/Stiff ski altogether.

I'd say yes, but with slightly less rocker and the contact area a tad shorter.  (longer, more gradual rocker)
