Line Opus- What size?

-I'm 5'9" 150lbs. Not growing anymore.
-They will be used for powder and big mountain/ cliffs. I may hit the occasional sidecountry booter as well.
-At the moment, I'm on a 178 park ski.

Do I get the 178 or 185?

Definitely the 185 I just bought some bacons in a 178 and I'm 5'6" and I was thinking they might be too short. So for sure go for the bigger size

I would definitely get the bigger size. Because of all that rocker, it's gonna ski REALLY short. Get the 185s

I have the Opuses and being honest, the rocker is suuuuuper mellow. I have the 192 and I'm 6'2 and 200lbs. UNREAL SKI. Does anything and everything well, perfect for what OP is looking for.

To OP: absolutely go with the 185, you'll be way happier and more confident learning to charge on a ski that is a bit longer.

get the 178s

your not heavy enough that the surface area of the ski isn't going to float

and why put a ton of extra stress on your muscles and knees?

178 will be way more fun and still ride big mountain just fine

Do the 185, the skis ski short due to the amount of early rise tip and tail. if you go with the 178s you will wish you went longer

too much pressure on your knees and reverse camber skis doesnt apply. i think when ur on backwards skis if anything there isnt enough pressure on your knees because your skis keep you balanced and u basically just stand there.
