Here are some basics already: firstly, this app will not be finished for around 4-6 months and I am currently the only one developing it
The game will have probably 1 map to start, then new ones added in the future, (I was thinking windells, and other famous ski mountains)
The game will be released for Apple users (iPad/iPhone), since I only have an App Developing licence for apple. I thought about charging $5-$10 for it, but I really don't think many people would buy it, so It will most likely be 99¢ or $1.99, I really would like to refrain from advertisements.
There is already an app like this for iPad/iPhone but It's not at great as I thought, I really didn't like how you control steering, since it makes it harder to see what you are doing IMO, and also how you fall everytime you make a little mistake, I did however like a few designs in the app, When you are in the air, and quick pop up menu comes out with a list of tricks, and you tap and hold to perform them, (I might make it so you can disable this, not sure yet) It also has so if you swipe up you go faster, but it failed to make a slow down button, another cool thing was, it tells you the trick you did
I would definitely like to include customization of the character and skis
I use my iPad for basically everything, and I find using iPhone's are to small for me, and want to hear how iPhone users would like the controls, I was thinking a dpad, left, down, right, up, in the bottom right hand corner, and the size of the dpad is adjustable
Anyways this is just a start, and feel free to add any suggestions/comments, I just need comments so I can get this started!
