We’re pretty proud of the new jacket we collaborated with O’Neill to create --so excited that we want to hook three people up with one for themselves.

The catch is that we also believe in the value that “hard work pays off,” so we want you to create a 15-30 second long video either telling us why you deserve one of these sweet pieces of outerwear, or a video that best promotes the collab. You can be funny, clever, witty, straight-to-the-point, whatever you think will win the support of your friends and peers to get you the voted to the top 3.

The reason I personally feel this won't reach it's full potential, possibly even fail, is that you need to put out 3 videos, correct me if I'm wrong, lots of guys on here are really creative and funny, but coming up with 3 funny/creative videos? that's a challenge, definitely feel it should have just been 1 video each.

Wut? Unless I've read the small print wrong it's upload a video of why you deserve the prize or a video promoting the colab jacket and that's it.

September 21st -- Voting for seeding round begins
September 27th -- Last day to vote for seeding round
September 28th -- Upload open for round 1
September 30th -- Voting for round 1 begins
October 4th -- Last day to vote for round 1
October 5th -- Upload open for round 2
Ocotber 7th -- Voting for round 2 begins
October 11th -- Voting for round 2 ends
October 12th -- Upload open for final round
October 14th -- Voting open for final round
October 18th -- Voting for final round ends
October 19th -- Contest closed


I agree that it should have been one video. I guess I need to start working on my two other entries.

I can't remember why I thought it was 3, but the rules, while a bit "what the fuck does this mean" to me, seem to imply you upload more videos if you go through

"Prior to H2H#1, H2H#2 and H2HFinal there is a two (2) day video upload period that may be used by the entrants who have made it to each respective round. "

The key words here are "may be". You don't have to upload a new submission after each round, but if you choose to you may do so.

At least that's what they did in Ugliest topsheet.

It's one of those notorious stupid laws, I think it's the kind of one nobody actually thinks benefits anyone in any way, but it still has to be there for some legal reasons, IIRC there's some way around it which involves asking the winner to add 1+1(literally) or something like that, but I can't remember if that's still the case, I'm sure NS would have known if there was a way.

When I download the bumper it is super corrupted. The audio is there but the vid is just a bunch of artifacts...


Can you change it so that the bumper is automatically added, or just a still frame?

Unfortunately there is absolutely nothing we can do about the Quebec laws...

Trust me, I wish there was something we can. But NS or O'Neill aren't the ones to blame for this!

It says under the Rules and Prizes tab on the contest page that uploading goes until tomorrow...but it appears to be closed?

I totally did! And I still love every minute of it. Sometimes a little break is the best thing for productivity though.

And honestly, it was barely even a vacation, as I still had a ton of work to do while I was out there.
