Crazy flash flooding in Boulder, CO

Crazy flash flooding in Boulder, Colorado right now. We went out to check it out, car got flooded, abandoned the car, walked to the Virtika warehouse and got tubes, and went tubing down the bike path through Boulder at 3am. Good times.

Flash floods aren't uncommon in the front range of Colorado, especially after the fires we've had the past few years. This flood however, shattered records in terms of rainfall and the fires the past few years really didn't help to stop the runoff or landslides at all.

The flood killed a pretty good friend of mine. I know it looks fun but I don't want to hear about any NS'ers trying to dick around in the creeks as this second storm hits tonight that don't make it out.

i wish i wasn't serious... wes q and wiyanna were my friends at chs. they where coming home from a party with two other kids when their car got stuck. wiyanna and wes got swept away and didn't make it when they tried to leave the car.
