Hey guys,
The upcoming season is approaching and I am getting stoked. I am new to Switzerland coming from Whistler. Right now I live in Biel, so a little away from the mtns. I don't mind driving. What are some must hit up resorts or ski touring areas?
Last season I live near Munich and hit up a large amount of Austria, but now that I'm in Biel I am looking forward to the Swiss alps.
I've been to Zermatt and I am not a fan because it is really difficult to do without spending mad $$$ and all the trains cut heavily into your ski time.
I can ski anything, prefer big mtn and fresh pow, specially if we can get some tree and pillows in there.
Cheers,
Catch ya on the shred.

If you want to ski big mountain, you can head up to Zermatt, or Verbier. Both are really good, if you head up to the east side, Engelberg and Corvatsch (St Moritz) are also really good options...

Zermatt, aha... yer most the resorts you just said, cost a fortune and are averahe, bar Verbier which has for sure some awesome terrain... but Engelnberg and Corvatsch are pretty shit in comparisson to other much cheaper ski resorts.

Yeah, anywhere in or near St. Mo is gonna be expensive, I live in zuoz, a little shithole near st. moritz and it breaks the bank.
If you ever plan on going to ski the east, i recommend you make the extra 40 minutes to livigno, hit me up if you do, i'm probhably going to be there at 9knights, if i get the time.
Anyhow, i would definitely recommend mottolino in livigno(totally not a biased opinion, ahem)
Hit me up if you're around or need some info.
All times are Eastern (-5)
