The spk is not that wide anywhere but the forefoot. If you have a generally hi volume foot there will be better boots. Look at the atomic live fits, head edge adapts, salomon mission, dalbello voodoo ect. But go have a fitter look at your feet an have him evaluate how wide you need to go. Your feet may be pronating by not being surported under that arch, making te foot appear wider then it really is.

I got caveman feet too. I sold my old SpK boots not long back and got the Icelantic st1 ......fits real nice.
