So basically this girl in my school smoked some weed. Well she thought it was weed.... Here's the story. Her and a friend smoked with some random kids from another school, both the girl and her friend apparently felt "paralyzed" while high. A few days after, they still felt strange, and the girl said she was feeling "weird lapses in time" as well as having anxiety attacks. So this girl goes to the doctor, and the doctor tells her she has some weird disorder with imbalances in her brain, somehow caused by weed? So she's apparently being put on medication and shit. But here's something weird, her drug test came up clean....

So when I first heard this I thought it was complete bullshit, some noob just got too high (this wasn't her first time smoking). But was it laced? Or Maybe no weed at all? That could explain the clean test maybe.... Idk I'm just really stumped, gentle, beatifily marry jane could never harm someone like this, so wtf is going on with this chick

Due to our genetic makeup it may be possible that marijuana was a trigger to an already underlying disorder that was just waiting to expose itself. That or the weed was laced with something.

Either way this is all just armchair speculation.

People are derpin herp derpers. Maybe she didn't even smoke anything and is just saying that to be cool. Maybe her brain is just fucked and she got put on meds cause she's fucking crazy/ used the weed story to not feel embarrassed(not that taking meds should be embarrassing)

This! They just ran a story in Denver about people dying from smoking synthetic pot. They referred to it as Spice. That's the first time I have ever heard about it. Not sure how one would go about making synthetic weed, but the feds are now in Colorado investigating it.

she could have been smoking hashoil. that shit will knock you out.. Although she probably would have known it was hash. But i hear it leaves your system a lot quicker than if you just smoke weed. really not an expert on the subject.

but yeah THC is known to bring out predisposed mental disorders.

I was told that if you never smoke then smoke once it get out of your body in like 3 days. Compared to smoking for weeks and building it up in your body that's can take about a month. but what do i know

It's a god damn plant. why would you go through the trouble of synthesizing something you can make for super cheap? and if we did do that then why have the pharmaceutical companies not patented it and sold it to us as pain medications.

...? Was there any test performed that proves the imbalance problem (CT scan, or MRI)?

Sounds like she had a bad trip and wants to blame it on the drugs rather than being a newb idiot. I don't know for sure, but I believe girls say their "drink has been drugged" a lot when really they just drank a lot and blacked out.

Its completely possible that weed could have that effect on her. It has different effects on everyone and its possible that she just had that rxn to it. BUT her drug test came up clean therefore shes probably lieing.

I hate to play the "its the government's fault" card but when your citizens are killing themselves by smoking synthetic marijuana I think its time to realize that legal barriers between citizens and a fucking plant are nothing but a waste of money, time, and good health.

probably spice, in Maine its legal and they sell it as spice in many tobacco shops. Its some weird shit, I cant imagine someone thinking it was real weed though if they got handed a bunch of spice

It was probably fake weed, i.e. K2, Spice, etc- maybe even Salvia (ugh)

This fake shit is so much worse than real weed it isn't even funny. Lots of new articles popping up about the horrible side effects that shit can have on your brain, I wouldn't smoke it if you paid me to!

I don't think the weed would have caused a disorder but rather enhanced it or it could even just be a coincidence that the disorder presented itself at that time. As for the drug test, it may have just not been weed.

You are right, but just to clarify so some idiot doesn't get the wrong idea, salvia divinorum is not a synthetic. It is a hallucinogenic herb with really weird effects. Some people love it(myself included) some people hate it, and I can understand why.
