bleh, to me a paleo diet isn't a strict diet, it's more of a lifestyle change.
far too many of us satisfy ourselves with baked goods, carbs, salts, and a bunch of other shit that is really just fattening calorie-heavy filler rather than nutritious meals.
trying to stick to a paleo diet, for me, really just helps me tone down the crap food and instead fill up on protein and fruits and veges. and it's done wonders for me so far.
rather than eating a sub, i have the ingredients. ill have a chicken salad and scrap the mayo and bread. rather than stuff my face cheese and crackers i have carrots and celery. instead of a handful of chips for a snack ill have some assorted nuts.
i don't think it's necessarily a bad thing, but some people like to analyze shit to death or take it overboard. become extremists.
i'd recommend most people TRY to eat mostly paleo, and in turn they'll really just become more health conscious and fill up on nutritious meals rather than filling quick and easy snacks.
