If you buy nikes you are supporting abuse of women and children. That's just straight up how it is whether you want to hear it or not. If you don't believe this then YOU are the one who is delusional.

Hundreds of women and children are raped in the congo every day. They cut off little girls labias in sub-saharan Africa. female babies are abandoned in china. This shit happens all the time and I don't like it. Our society largely ignores these things most of the time and there is not much I can do about it considering I live on the other side of the world. I already know about this stuff though and that's why I don't have a huge emotional reaction when I hear stories like this. I don't need more evidence (although I think the stories are important to get people thinking about the subject).

Most importantly, doing things like buying ethical clothing is something I CAN do. I think it's important to make the right choice. It does make a difference.
