In case anyone cares about filming near water. I had my camera and lenses in a Pelican case, which has been working really well for me the last few months. Completely waterproof and shock proof up to 30ft I believe? Fits right between my legs, with the tripod behind my seat. The alternative is a Watershed bag, with a zip-lock type closing mechanism. A friend of mine drenched his camera the other weekend with one, so not sure if I'd recommend them. Only scary part is if I have to swim out... and my camera floats down the river without me.
Let me know what you guys think:
