I am starting up on filming other skier friends and already have a Canon t2i with a standard 18-55 lens and I am wondering what other equipment/lenses/accesories I am going to need/want to film, I have no other camera eqipmemt at the moment.
Also if you have any filming tips or advice that would be greatly apreciated.
Thanks!
as for tips, I'd say watch a few good edits and try and imitate what they do and go put together an edit of your own (not skiing necessarily). Then get feedback on what you've done. then the next edit you film will be that much better already.
Look into glide cams, they help with stabilizing your shots, whether follow or stationary. Also, another option (thats worse) is to get something like a cam caddie scorpian. Then, look into mic's, get one that can handle wind noises and whatnot.....but if you don't want to pay, mess around with taping a cotten ball to your camaras mic.
