the music is cheesey predictable and suckey. the voices are dumb shitty and gay, and the subject is usually idiotic boring and stupid!

plus you cant clame or try to act your a punk when your a sellout.

I wouldn't as much dislike a person that just plain listens to emo, I hate it but the music you listen to is your choice. However, people who dress and look emo... they're just plain asking to be beat up and raped in streets. I don't normally call things gay, but that is SO FUCKING GAY...

i dont like 'emo' because 'emo' has a distinct sound to it, resulting in generic bands that play crap for no other reason but to achieve the specified sound.

emo is fine, but the bands tend to be total sellouts. also,lyrics are such that you doubt the musicians are actually feeling the anguish, pain, and sorrow they sing about. as for emo kids, its a phase alot of people go through, they arent hurting anyone so whatever, their ethics may not gel with mine...but hey, live and let live.

Emo is the abreviation of emotion.(ok,EMOTION)

Guys(if you call a gay guy or a feminine guy)bitches about his live is hard and how it sucks.They talk about their feeling when their girlfriends leave them.

EMO singers are metrosexuals,they like to dress like a gay.They usally like to hang out at shopping malls and they always think they are cute.

Papa Roach is NOT an EMO band,they dont bitch about their feelings and whatnot.

who the hell brought up papa roach? dear god.

so what do you guys that hate emo want songs to be written about? drivin escalades, shooting cops? yea, that's really stuff you can relate too. most people that hate emo have never felt the way the music feels. So it's foreign to them they don't understand it at all. But maybee someday they'll get themselves into a situation where they feel the way emo feels and then they'll understand.

Hating on a genere of music is about the dumbest thing you can do, it's like hating on a color, or food, there's a ton of different types, and probably somebody somewhere likes one specific one, that not to many other people like, so what. Are you really that little of a person to let a type of music get to you? It's not like anyone forces you to listen to anything. Listen to what you like, I'm sure most of the other people on the planet don't like it as much as you.
