I loved it, but be warned there is only one urban segment and one park segment, both are pretty long though. the rest is backcountry and big mountain, which is pretty much the perfect ratio for me

I find it better when there are more big mountain shots in a ski movie, there is alot of progression that is developing more there than urban shoots....unless if you are Tom Wallisch and Co. and launching off a 3 story building haha

As a more "big mountain" skier I completely disagree with this statement.

why? I mean I feel like you got the entire mountain as a playground.
I mean I gave credit to urban skiers, its sick what they do, but I mean there are alot of urban shots out there and they are crazy, but big mountain stuff is still progressing at a faster rate than urban because its not shown as much and new skiers are coming up and doing some sick stuff out there and killing it with style.

Detroit is the best thing i've seen pbp do in a very long time. the segment alone is worth to see the movie.

I had to read this 3 times to decide if I was crazy for not understanding or if OP is just a dumb fuck.
OP is just a dumb fuck.

I understand what he is saying that there is so much room in big mountain and freeride skiing to the extent where there are literally endless possibilities, but urban is by far the most rapidly progressing aspect in skiing right now

All I'm trying to say is that big mountain freeride edits are not as popular as urban edits. So there is alot of room for improvement in big mountain freeride. that's it.
No hate towards anyone or urban style stuff. Sheesh. don't have to be a dick.

it's not that big mountain edits aren't as popular, there just aren't as many of them. any kid with a decent camera can film urban/park segs. absolutely not the case with big mountain. even though i ski no park or urban, i would have to agree that urban is the fastest progressing part of the sport right now. we're finally catching up to snowboarding in urban, whereas in the big mountain arena we've been crushing boarders for years.

typical NEWBschooler response. talk shit because someone has a different opion than yours. Its an opinion. thats all it is. youd think he'd said evolution doesn't exist.
