2013 libtech pipe NAS or 2012 Vokyl Wall

Im 5'10 150 20yrs young, I have K2 Kung Fujas right now that I ride through the park, all mountain but they are long (181) and I am looking for something shorter with a better swing weight.

I have a pair of pipe NAS and they are fun skis. Insanely durable, more lightweight than my atomic punx. I did have to detune them as the magnetraction was a bit too hooky. I dunno how they would be on rails. They have incredible pop and are at least twice as stiff as my K2 recoils, I don't have any other skis that are nearly so stiff. This makes them really fun on jumps, pop plus their lightweight. The bases are beasts that can take abuse like nothing else, Lib-tech uses a 9k weight sintered base which is twice the density of most companies. My biggest complaint is that the shovels were low so they deflected easy in chop. The stiffness/full camber plus magnetraction means that they will try and ski you if you let them, you really have to stay on top of them, but they will reward you in flight as they love to fly.

Id go volkl if you want to ski a bunch of rails. Magnetraction seems like it would be kind of wonky on rails

I was thinking the same thing about the magnetration being wonky on rails.

Volkl makes bomber skis...i doubt youre going to find too many people that will speak badly about them

The mag is not weird on rails, I think its weird if your ride them sharp and put the ski flat at speed, their like me at a strip club...a little grabbie

I for one say get the new over used, American over euro trash, and "green" product over not.

Lib is a awesome company, very innovative, and stand behind their products.

I'd say go with the company that's been building SKIS for 90 years and has won awards for eco-responsibily three years in a row from ISPO
