X games big air in 1999

i was watching a recap of Big Air from this years X- Games and i came across these 3 videos. They're videos of the Xgames Big Air in 99. the winner won by doing a switch 7. Tell me what you guys think of this.

Anyone know what the winning trick was the first year? Or was 1999 the first year of ski big air/best trick?

Crusty Butt 1999 was first year of skiing in xgames.
