EDM, i dont get it. my friend payed 80 dollars to see sts9(?) the other night and she showed me some songs and i could not see people listening to that and im very open to music i just do not understand how somebody could actually listen to that, or any other music like it. enlighten me ns. please.

It all depends on you. There are some "EDM" (I hate that word), so i guess ill say there are some trance songs out there that I cant understand how people dont like them. But people have different opinions, that's the way it is.

Yep, i feel the same way. Also, why do people think they need to play this shit as loud as they can every where they go? I have a very broad taste in music but edm/dubstep just gives me a headache. This is pretty much the reason why I have no desire to go to burning man.

STS9 is not EDM.  I was at those shows, never heard them play better, mind blowing really.  anyone thats seen sound tribe before will know what im talking about..

I saw them at RR in 2009 and it was freakin awesome. I saw them again last year at RR and it was not nearly as good, but still good. Lotus is (different but) much better musicians.
