Does anyone actually listen to music posted in threads?

I'm talking about threads that look like this:

-Post your favorite song right now
-Post a song you can't stop listening to
-Post a song that gets you pumped to ski
-Post a song from an up and coming artist

etc. etc.

Does anyone actually listen to the music in these threads, or do you just post a song and then leave the thread?

Or maybe you're like me and you enter the thread and realize it's moving slow as molasses because it's filled with YouTube videos, and you exit it immediately.

Maybe it's just me? I'm just curious.

I listen to quite a bit of stuff from those threads if I'm on tha PC. Alllllways on the search for a fresh sound. But, I don't even bother clicking if I'm cruising with a phone or tablet.

I spend the majority of my time posting from my phone's 4g due to lack of Internet access at my house. If I'm on my computer on campus it's not that slow

Maybe admins could make it so each post can only have one embedded video in it? That way it will be limited to 50 videos a page... still a lot, but better. If people want to share more than one embed then they would have to double/triple/quadroooooople post... which could lead to a whole new problem.

I have once, it was purely because someone posted the album cover and I remembered it. Then, about six months later, I was on the plane (New York to London, I have a stupid memory), and it was number one on the 'inflight entertainment's alphabetically ordered list of music.

It was beech house - bloom, and it was fairly average. Didn't mind it too much though.

Although this would work well in these types of threads where there is no discussions I feel like the limit would negatively affect other types of threads. For example if someone was trying to give a trick tip with a couple of vids for examples of what to do, it would be awkward to have to split their explanation between a couple of posts.
