This may be a repost. Search bar didn't find anything. What will I need for urban besides a shovel,bungee,and lights. I recently saw mutiny and the first shot where they set up the urban looks like it took a good while. For anyone who has done urban, how long does everything take between stomping the trick, setting it up, and taking down the lip and bungee +K for helpful answers

Every feature will be completely different. You might be able to get in and out in under two hours, or you might be there all day.

Hard to say, each hit is different. Probably about an hour or 2 for the lip, about 1 or 2 hours lights and such. So in total probably 4 or 5 hours tops

Don't forget water/ salt to help with packing snow if it isn't super warm out. And bring friends. The more the merrier!

Like I said it's hard to say but a lip takes hour and a half tops, lights and such about an hour, and from first trick to take down probably 2 or 3 hours. So i'd say 5 hours is pretty fair.

What do you mean lights. I have ones that run on just a huge battery in the back. I just have to flip a switch

depends were you are, if you are at place where you could get busted easily you are prob gonna work faster building everything and will prob only get 2 shots. This could take probably one and a half hours or more.

if you are hitting urban at a place were no one will find you you have all day to hit the feature, and get all the shots you wwant and dont have to rush to build the feature (which could make it safer)


one tip is too bring water not only to drink and keep yourself hydrated but to also help the feature you are building freeze and become hard quicker

I presume you are filming this, so I would recommend bringing an extra camera battery. You might be filming longer than you think and if your camera dies during a shot it sucks.
