this is sad. It still gives me no reason to respect police or what they do. police kill innocent people as well. I don't want to kill a cop, but I want to live in a world without police.

Yes believe me you want police. Have you ever been somewhere without a functional police force? Just driving down the road is risking your life. People live in constant fear of auto accidents and crime, for which there is no punishment.

Believe me the little we, in the developed world, give up in order to have police patrols is more than worth it.

Only really delusional people think that all policemen are bad. I happen to think that police are by and large good people, and that most of the laws that they enforece are good, but most people that dislike the police force are either against the institution and structure itself, or a specific few police officers. I don't really see your point.

A cop died in my town about a year ago, and he had a funeral procession that was about an hour long. Even though they may be dicks sometime, remember that they serve the public and risks their lives for you self being.

The kind of police that shoot and taze suspects without question are the ones we talk bad about. The police that use their uniform to pick on others simply because they're self-hating douchebags are the ones that are pigs. A responsible, dedicated Sgt. that did nothing except be in the wrong place at the wrong time deserves to be remembered, and his life celebrated. At the same time, just because one good cop dies doesn't make all cops suddenly good.

I may have misinterpreted your comment, but I think you were implying that because a police officer was killed in cold blood, people shouldn't bitch about the police? I agree people should stop bitching, but I don't see the connection. Also, I like your icon.
