I saw this in a related videos section on youtube and I clicked on it, and holy shit. This brought so much feeling. The nostalgia level I'm feeling is absolutely indescribable... I really fucking miss this game... For whatever reason I remember always playing this with my friends and brother. Took us ages to beat. Something so clear in my mind of when I was 9... I feel if I went back and played the game it would absolutely ruin this feeling of nostalgia. You guys know what I mean if you played this game.

I could never kill the fucking Parasite Queen (I was pretty young), so I gave up. I only rented it though. I love metroid in general though.

And I just came across this too.. Such a memorable soundtrack. Metroid prime 2 was also so memorable.

Still have a gamecube and metroid prime. From when I was a kid this was memorable as far as a soundtrack. Also would piss me off caused this is the hardest track in the game.
