First pair of skis (one ski quiver)

Yo

basically I'm looking for some advice on the purchase of my first pair of skis, I'm going away on a ski season and looking to buy my first pair.

Been on quite a few holidays before and my skiing is pretty good but looking to really progress in the park over my season.
I like to ski all over the mountain making use of everything the hill can offer whether it be charging on piste or heading off to look for stuff to jump and mess about on, skiing park and love getting into the deep stuff when Ive been lucky to get some on holidays.

Im sort of looking for the annoying 1 ski quiver everyone talks about, something soft enough to play off anything but good enough at speed to hold the edge and feel stable, but like I said Im looking to spend quite a lot of time in the park perfecting jumps and rails.
Few skis that have caught my attention are Armada Halo2, Alpha X's, Line Blends (skied the 2011's last holiday) Faction Soma and the Moment PB & J's....

any advice from guys that have tried these skis or any others I should look at, pro's con's etc

blends are sweet, a really do anything ski, you wouldn't be disappointed

but, I would go with PB&Js, probably because I'm a just a huge Moment fan boy

Faction Soma would be a good choice.

It does depend what kinda snow your skiing on. Is it wetter snow or dryer snow? If it's wetter go with a wider ski. If your skiing in dryer snow the 90 waist skis with rocker (like the soma) would be more than enough deep days. It's not gonna float like the Armada JJ but would be a good One quiver ski.

cheers, im doing my season over in france so guessing the snow will be pretty damp so maybe the wider ski would be suited better, which I could demo some but being from the uk we dont get that chance.

I did ride the 2011 blends for few days on my last holiday in whistler, but we got some serious snow so changed them up for some volks shiro's, I cant really remember what the 2011 blends rode like in all honest as I had so much fun in the deep on the shiros.

Jeronimos would be a great choice if you can get your hands on them. I have a pair of Billygoats. They rock. Everyone how has any pair of ON3P skis raves about them.  Jeronimos would be a good allmnt ski.

Rossignol Sprayer. Fucked that ski up so tough. Like an all mt twin tip just getting worked on rails hahaa

ON3P all the way. Not only are the JMos not a bad choice compared to the others, but ON3P makes skis that are WAAAAY more durable than any other company I've ever skied. It will save you money in the long run. By a lot.

Plus the skis are awesome.
