I could probably ski better than you even though it's been several years and still not hate.
Jesus that's what I hate about these topics. Same with that skiing meme shit. It just brings in all these children that suck at either sport and hate on the other.
Only gapers do that shit. My crew was almost all skiers for a long time. Only noobs and douche bags hate on the other sport. Anybody with a brain can respect them and learn from them. Both sports have things they can learn from one another even though park skiing as we know it is a newer sport.
Haters gonna hate, the really skiers gonna ski and riders gonna ride
I had never done either until I tried snowboarding and I just fell all day. A few weeks later I rented skis and I picked it up really quickly. I come from a motocross and bicycle background tho so that may have to do with it
in my opinion i think skiing is harder to learn, but easier to master. snowboarding is easier to learn but much more difficult to master. skiing has much more style at an earlier level of mastery than snowboarding.
I have instructed quite a bit of both...Skiing easier to to learn..point and go, pizza/French fry....snowboarders eat shit while they learn...mastering is a whole other story. Once you can snowboard, you've got it, go learn some tricks. I'll never be the best skier I can be. There's always better form to strive to in a bigger variety of conditions, on top of new tricks (Never rode with a boarder who could rip a mogul field). Ski tricks are infinitely steezier too. Boarders have such limited body positioning, skiers can tweak it out so many dif ways. Both are super fun but skiing wins everyday every time.
Ok sick bro it's a shitty joke don't have to blow your cap. I used to snowboard I know how shitty it is to learn. It blows my mind how people can get so worked up over the small things
skiing is way harder to learn to a mastery skill level. been skiing for 16 years and teaching it for 4 and im still not a god yet . but hopped on a snowboard for the first time and was shredding throwing 3s in 4 runs.. not saying its that easy to master but sure as hell quicker to learn. just my 2 cents
