by rap i assume you mean hip-hop so check out the 3 huge charts on all the classic and essential hip-hop albums. lately ive been listening to RunTheJewels/doris but you should check out the charts for a broader range.

by indie i assume you mean alt rock because indie music just means independent music from any band not signed to a record label. (this means that every band in existence was once indie) (indie=independant). if youre looking for foster the people/arcade fire type indie then id try the alternative rock charts. lately ive been listening to suburbs/the devil and god are raging inside me

As far as indie/alt rock/ bit alternative stuff,

Wild Nothing. Check out their album Nocturne. Track #1 and #3 are my favorites. Creds to Dillinger on this one.

Just gonna mention a few artists here: Alt-J, Generationals, Peace, Jonas Alaska, Kakkmaddafakka, M83, Of Monsters and Men, FMLYBND, Miami Horror, Crystal Fighters, The Tallest Man on Earth, Mikhael Paskalev, Kings of Leon (ish) , Southern, Youth Lagoon, Gypsy & The Cat, The XX, Bonobo, Cut Copy etc etc

As far as chill rap goes,

Souls of Mischief, People Under the Stairs, Cragi Mack (Flava in ya ear), pretty much anything produced by J Dilla, Also check out Guillotine (Swordz) by Raekwon.Inspectah Deck's first verse is just fenomenal. Nas, MF Doom, Biggie if you're a bit selective, Nujabes, check out Feather // Mystline // Aurarian Dance.
