Full Tilt Tongue Flex Choice

When your buying full tilt boots, I think you should be able to choose your tongue flex. On the website there could be a place to choose your size, and your tongue flex, 4, 6, or 8. I think this would help people have a little more customization in their boots. plus it doesn't seem like it would be that hard to do.

fult tilt would have non stop bitching and complaining because peoples tongues wouldnt match their boots. or they would have to make every flex tongue in every shade they are making that year. why not just buy your boots based on the tongue instead?

You pretty much can. Full tilt make a boot with all the different tongue options and seeing how all other parts of full tilts are pretty mu h the same anyway you can choose the tongue you want and get it in the appropriate boot. For example if you want the 10 then your skiing hard so a pro liner and metal buckles make sense. If you for some reason want the 4 then your not skiing hard at all so you prob can use a basic set up. Sure you may not get the graphics you want, but having an appropriate boot is more important then what it looks like.

Yeah I guess, I didn't really think about the colors, I was thinking just black and white. But the only boot that comes with a four flex tongue is the booter. And some people have skinny feet, and want the pro liner. So they would want the Tom pros, with a 4 flex tongue

No one should really want a 4 flex tongue though. It's like a 60 flex in standard boots, which is incredibly soft. Even if you just ride park you will want a 6-8. Having boots too soft will hold you back just as much as having boots to stiff.

Yeah that makes sense, Ive never ridden a 4 flex but i've heard people talking about liking them, I also talked to a guy who said he rode a 2 flex the one year they made it.

Yeah people will ride them, but it certainly won't be helping them. Have a look online an see how many 60 flex boots you can find. If you can find them they certainly are not for anyone but beginners. People get to much into thinking soft stuff works for park when it simply is not true most of te time. The only exception is for all the kids who use full tilts who could easily be in a jnr boot but jnr boot are not cool enough.

I wouldn't get the 4, I have the 6 and its pretty soft already, I'm getting a 10 this year for skiing out of the park.
How much do you weight? I would at least get the 6....

If anything I would get an 8 or 10 for skiing out of the park. I'm 145 ish and if there is any actual snow then I have to flex right through the boot to drive the ski. I'm going to get an 10 for skiing of the park and I'll keep the 6 for park.
I just don't think its really necessary to go any softer than the 6. What advantage is there? They flex out easily already.

I see what your saying. And im not saying I want anything softer. I may want something stiffer, The idea is just you can choose out of all of them. you could have tom pros with a 10 if you want is what im trying to say.
