If you do molly, buy a tester kit. I know I've said this on here a ridiculous amount of times but BUY A TESTER KIT.

That is way too young. The last few years bathsalts have become all the rage. People just want to make a quick buck and don't care, or don't know what they're selling you. At some of these electronic festivals, over 3/4s of the "Molly" going around is a completely different chemical and contains no traces of mdma. Honestly seems it could be close to 90% at some of them. One of the huge problems with this beyond the obvious, is that there are a lot of young kids going to these shows. They want to get a little fucked up and rage their favorite sets, have a good time with their friends. People just blindly assume that the person selling them molly, actually has mdma. Also, people seem to think because something got them fucked up/ gave them energy, that's it's mdma. Just because it's not baby powder doesn't mean it's mdma.

If more people had test kits it would make the music scene in general MUCH safer. The test kits generally go for about $20 bucks and you can get 50/100 tests out of a bottle depending on what kind you get.

Don't take a chance with your life. I'm not telling you to stay inside, skip the shows and never have any fun, I'm just asking you to be safe and be aware.

These tests kits are very easy to use, you don't have to have a college degree in chemistry to figure them out. It just takes a tiny spec of "molly" and 1 drop from the test kit. Seriously it takes a crumb, so don't worry about wasting all of it to the point where you'd rather just risk it. The reaction happens in seconds. Sometimes just pulling out a test kit will cause a seller with fake molly to leave. Some people don't even know that they've been selling fake things because they got it from a friend, who got it from a friend etc.

If you and your friends like to go shows, or just like to eat molly, look into buying one of these.

You gotta be kidding me. The real and fake stuff come in so many different forms. People thinking that they would know if somebody tried to sell them something fake is a big part of the reason it still goes on.

I'm not saying that you can't rule some stuff out right away, just that it's better to be 100% sure on everything when it's something that costs a bunch of money, and can either give you a great time or a really shitty time/maybe kill you.

I don't think you realize that many of those same drugs are being purchased from people they know when they're back home as well. Get enough people together with many of them ingesting drugs, and many of those drugs not so good, some really bad, also them doing large amount to "roll face" and you're going to have some problems.

It's not just the shows and strangers selling people fake molly. Even in peoples hometown, buying from their friends they should be using test kits. There's no reason not to. A lot of people selling the fake stuff don't even know its fake. Also, many times some of the best things out there come from the music scene.

There are people that have rolled a ton of times and never actually rolled or even ingested mdma.

Instead of coming from the "Just don't do it" side I'm trying to show people there's an cheap/easy thing they can do to make their experiences much more safe.

I wonder if you lived through alcohol prohibition you would be down with getting random booze from strangers. Although that's a completely different drug, there are still similarities in the way prohibition drives the market underground and takes it away from any forms of regulation.

People are still going to eat things at these shows, I just figured I'd point out an easy way to do that safely. Not sure why you had to pick this thread to jump in with the usual.

I don't think you realize that buying drugs from a friend that you trust and has already tried what they're selling you is a lot different than RANDOMLY BUYING DRUGS FROM RANDOM PEOPLE AT A FUCKING CONCERT.

Stop trying to defend the most absurd forms of stupidity and do something that matters with your time... like going to concerts and taking whatever random scumbag offers to sell you.

This is a real problem, I was simply trying to shred some light on it and make sure people know whats going on. There are plenty of younger kids on here going to these shows and doing just that. Even the fucking news reports about how they ingest mdma at shows because that's what they thought they took, the real background story never seems to make it to the mainstream.

No, only a couple people die because only a couple people die. I saw 6 people drop, 2 of them having seizures within a half hour at camp bisco one year. Almost all those people were eating fake drugs, all of them as in the whole festival.

If you're going to be a douche know what the fuck you're talking about. Go right ahead and posts your standard shit in threads, but for once can you leave something alone? This is a serious issue, people are dying, it's not my fault your mommy didn't love you.

One of the first things we ever learned...don't take candy from strangers. Same logic applies here honestly, and unless you tested it yourself or you saw your 'good friend' test it you can't be 100% sure. most people pushing it don't care to test it, and even if it tested for some fucked up shit it probably won't stop them from selling it, they gotta at least make their money back

You're still missing the whole point dumbass. There are bad drugs everywhere, even the people buying it in their hometowns from their friends.


With the drug war the way it is there really is no way to no what the fuck you're ingesting other than to test it. Sorry you can't seem grasp that.

I love all the bullshit about EDM's sanctity being corrupted by drugs.

Electronic music and drugs have been intertwined since day one. Going back to the Madchester days, people have been taking obnoxious amounts of speed, molly, coke, etc. and listening to repetitive electornic music with crescendos and breaks. The music is literally inspired by and drawn on drug experiences!

I'm not saying you need to take those drugs to enjoy the music (I don't really like the music and don't take drugs at my age), but don't act like it's some fringe group of EDM fans giving the "scene" a bad reputation. If anything, the surge in popularity of dance music has attracted straight edge folk to a culture notorious for drug use, not the other way around. Do what you like, make your own decisions, but don't try and take ownership of a culture that has been around for 30/35 years and decide who the "real" participants are.

Fuck, I hate hearing sanctimonious fucks who've never had a single experience outside of what their parents have cosigned prattle on about people getting what they deserve and Darwinism. I hope you're kids are junkies.

It doesnt matter who you buy from you can get bunk stuff from anyone. I have gotten bunk drugs from friends and from people on lot. The only way to be really safe is not buy drugs. But that is not the story here, if you are planning on buying drugs get a testing kit. Plain and simple there are a lot of RCs out there that act and look like Mauhl or other powders.

I have known a lot of kids who got drugs of friends who have gotten RCs instead what ever else they were trying to h buy. It happens, test your shit.

Remember you friend is buying off someone who is usually buying off someone. Unless you know the cook/chemist you don't know what you are getting unless your test.

And like I said, I always test things. Hell I don't even do anything wild anymore, just drink. You're assuming that everything you get off the silk road will be the real deal, which is the whole point of this thread. You can't assume anything.

Good for you. There are always threads on here about people going to different edm shows and eating molly. As much as you'd think it would be obvious by now, most people still aren't testing things so there is still a big problem. Hence the thread.

So you think buying from friends is safe.

So, my buddy recently bought from a friend before a Phish show at Spac (well not recently but the beginning of summer), this friend of mine is well versed in molly and other drugs. He has been on the scene for a while. He trust said friend so he got a gram of what he thought was going to be fire. But it wasnt at all it was RCs. He had a terrible time, he tested it after night 1 and it was garbage. Most molly out there right now is RCs. I haven't seen real MDMA in a while that hasn't been cut with some sort of research chemical or what not.
I myself do not fuck with molly or any chemicals anymore.

Second story happened 2 years ago on tour with a couple of friends. These kids where touring with Phish I met them in comcast, they been slinging whatever they could get their hands on (tested and all to make sure it was the real deal) They would deal just enough to get by on tour nothing more nothing less. I was drinking a beer when my buddys tour buddy (sorry little confusing) came over, he was wide eyed and white as a ghost. The kid had a little issue with coke, I look at him and asked what he has taken. He said just a rail of coke and he doesn't think it is coke at all. The story goes he went over to some buddys who usually have the white, he has known them for 2 or so years good tour friends, family as they would say. They spread some lines and all pop them off. He walks away, comes and find me. Long story short he did a huge line of K not coke. Last time he trusted anyone with out testing.

Both these should be lessons in why you test.

Look Skier and the rest that say buy from someone you trust, you are going to get burned sometime.
As I mentioned before, unless you know the chemist or cook, you don't know what you are going to get.

One last story, when I was in college I bought some grass off a friend who bought bulk from another buddy in Amherst MA. This dope was bought by everyone on campus, my buddy ran a pretty decent business. So, I smoked right after class on a Thursday with a friend, we sat down and played twist metal on play station. Next thing we knew it was 12 mid night. We actually thought it was like maybe 6 or 7 at night. We walk out of the room and the campus was all fucked up. Bathrooms are torn apart, people freaking out, benches smashed...Ends up the grass we got was laced with PCP.

Can't select quote cause mobile BUT I agree with you, I've gone to plenty of EDM shows and all of them consist of some 16 year olds claiming "bro I'm like on acid/Molly for the first time bro". I don't really care that theyre doing drugs but I don't understand the apparent NEED to pop Molly at shows. I can have a pretty good fuckin time completely sober.
