Football edit I made, Critiques please!

I decided to make a pump up-style video for my school (GVSU)

I had absolutely no part in the filming or any say in the shots, I only found what I could online. This said, I know the quality sucks pretty bad, but I did the best from what I had being at a somewhat smaller school.

I"m looking for general edit feedback, flow, feel, editing, music critique. Anything really, just trying to learn and become better.

Change the color of the text at the beginning. Maybe blue with white outline? The white text on b&w is tough to see.

Some of the shots at the beginning you couldnt see the actual "moment" because of the flash when the drop happened. It would cut out right as the hit happened, which is the part everyone wants to see.

Most of the footy wasnt the best, but it would good for not having your own.

Watch the "buzzing" effect on the schedule. It made it hard to read the schedule because it happened so much and you couldnt really refocus in time

I was worried about the end buzzing on the schedule, and I couldn't really get the effect I wanted so I went with a preset. It probably is a bit too much, I could tone it back a little.

As for the hits, I wanted them to seem big, and I thought the flash/twitch effect made it work a little better. It may be distracting though, I could also tone that/tweak it a little.

The beginning text is a little hard to read, but I wanted to keep it all in b/w to add to the effect of the beginning and the build up. Maybe I should tweak it also but its an effect I want to keep in b/w.
