Peice of metal stuck in oil resevoir

So i believe that there are some newschoolers members are car enthusiasts and i was wondering if any of them knew a way to get a peice of metal out of the oil resevoir for an 09 subaru impreza? What happened was i was doing an oil change, bolt was stripped so i got a rubber stopper with a metal clasp, that broke and peice went into the resevoir and i cant get it into the shop for a bit because its labor day weekend. i was wondering if there was anyway to get the peice out so i can drive it down to the shop???

So the bung or the drain plug on the pan was stripped, then a piece off a rubber stopper which went up through the drain plug hole, bust off and went skittling somewhere into the oil pan?

If that's the case, I'd take a magnet and try fishing around for it through the drain plug hole.

If that's not the case could you post up some pictures and clear things up?

pretty much, it had a metal clasp that was how the rubber stopper stopped the leak, i dont have a magnet thats the issue along with everything else
