Looking for a technical backpack for school

Well my old backpack is starting to crap out on me and I would like to buy a new bag. The thing is I dont just want a jansport for school I want to get a higher end backpack that I could also use as a daypack if needed, and of course so I look cool with a bunch of straps hanging off while walking on the quad

I was thinking maybe the north face base camp hot shot-



Its the regular hot shot but made with the awesome tnf duffle bag material, kinda a boring backpack, but the material is a huge +

or maybe this guy with a ski carry

Id like a patagonia bag but there arent many cool packs by them, theres also a lot of smaller companies I would be interested in but dont know of, I always see sick packs when Im in the park system
