Dub step in Edits?

I believe that this is something that is very arguable among everyone in the action sports industry. There's nothing worse than some crude lasers, spaceships, and random electronic noises when you're trying to enjoy a ski edit. Then again almost every other genre of music can give you the same effect.

I personally don't mind dub step however it has to suit the video itself or it can become a huge bust. Syncing bass hits to after bangs, video effects to sound effects, etc, can make for an awesome video.

The reality is that music will make or break your video and it is important to choose wisely and begin editing after your song is selected!

Let me know what you think about types of music used in edits!

I stopped reading here.


Use whatever music you want, thats your choice. I personally think there is nothing worse than a distracting song (whether its dubstep or not) and every edit i've ever seen with dubstep the song is way too distracting. Also, it made my ears bleed, dubstep isn't music.
