Yeah they're still going to reopen it, but it's under new management. They have 3 old chairs there. My uncle helped put in the chair in the "Northwest" part of West Mountain back in the '70s. My grandfather also worked as a mechanic back in the day there, too. Either way from the giant amount use, the chairs are rusting.

Also, I think someone posted the link in the smallest ski resort thread.

Skiing is skiing, if you really love it you get that same feeling every time, pure enjoyment. I've never had a bad time skiing at any resort.

thats because you're from the southern midwest, some places are actually pretty legit. If you have ever been to nubs nob in northern michigan, then you know that the midwest isn't too bad in some places. Also Mt Bohemia in the U.P. is basically a mini mountain, It is all backcountry skiing. There are no groomed runs, one chairlift, tons of glade skiing, multiple cliffs, and zero out of bounds areas because you can ski down any way you want. It is sick for being in the midwest

Granted southern Midwest sucks all besides Perfect North. Arguably best park in Midwest I don't care where else you say is better more big names come out of that little hill than anywhere else in the Midwest because all we can do is park park park and they have it mastered way better than anywhere else southern Midwest and most of all Midwest. (Nick Goepper, Chris Laker, Ian Block) just to name some.

Mt. Bohemia seems legit, but it's prolly 10+ hours and CO is like 16 so I don't mind just making the extra 6 hours for so much more!!

Granite Gorge! Keene, NH. smallest place i've ever skied and the couple of features they put in are never changed around or really maintained, especially come spring when the snow gets soft.

Hahaha 15 - 30 minutes is nothing! At PNS on the orange lift I've waited an hour!!! And Snowshoe early season is just as bad.

Fucking Peter, try working for the asshole. That is what has really made me despise the place.
Other than that they are slowly improving on their rails, so it might slowly get better, but still not worth getting a pass next season.

They have that one decent length box, but the surface is an inch below the coping! and all the rails are lined up right next to each other in a tiny-ass roped off area.

Yeah a good buddy of mine works for Strat parks and they do a great job but I don't ski park so that is completely lost on me tbh haha

I need steeps, rocks, trees and cliffs etc. at a much cheaper rate than Stratton costs to be stoked.

Mt Avila in Quebec, the worst vibe and park ever, they claim of having the best park in Quebec but it blows, they say : oh we are closing the park to change the setup and they move 2 rails and take out 4. It sucks, the park builder and the park crew are the stupidest people I've ever met.
