Not sure if this has been suggested before, but I think it'd be helpful if there was some sort of notification or way to show that someone replied to your post in a thread. I feel like it'd be easier especially in threads like the 'post your latest purchase' where you'd be wading through pages of people talking about someone buying a t-shirt to see if someone had anything to say about what you bought, for example.
Just putting this out there, this is one of the few things that bothers me about newschoolers.

Exactly. The "My Threads" function is good, but a direct notification when someone quotes YOUR posts would be awesome.

Could we just have a symbol that pops up beside the threads you've been quoted in, in 'My Threads'. Maybe a simple speech speech bubble with (“ ") in it.

Specifically, a notifications feature should jump directly to the relevant post, with just one click. For people who use the forums a lot, it would be incredibly useful. Even for those who primarily use the Pictures/Videos sections, it would be helpful. Please add this.
