don't get so caught up in the partying that you flunk out like a lot of losers do their first semester. you're there to fucking learn, so take advantage of that and learn as much as possible. that doesn't mean you can't party your dick off, just make sure you maintain your priorities or else you'll be living with mommy and daddy in January.

1) leave business school and try a different college with a business minor. (Ie engineering with a business minor or MBA = specialty sales = mad money)
2) go to class. I know everyone says it but even if you get on NS the whole time, you hear critical announcements and meet people that can help you with homework and studying.
3) Party and have fun. Go to class hung over if you have to, just don't let it get in the way.
4) Fuck as many bitches as you can, it's easy to meet girls dtf in college
5) get close with professors. References are huge!
6) Go to some of those gay free pizza shit meetings. You may find something cool or a hot chica.
7) Don't get arrested (general life knowledge)
8) Don't spend all your money the first month there. Be the baller at the end of the semester with money to buy beer.
9) You had the focus to read all of this so I think you will be fine.
I did all of this on my phone so all of the carriage returns will likely go away and this will be one ugly paragraph.

Plan out your shit. whether it be a google calendar, or a written planner that you write your stuff in do it. Write down when your assignments, projects and labs are due. Write down your test days, plan days for reviews, plan office hours/class schedules.

The way to be successful besides just plainly getting your work done and trying hard is to be organized so you don't get overwhelmed. Syllabuses have a huge amount of info and our given out the first day, read them, plan off them so you know in the future.

first year is the party year. just don't go overboard. second year is when university really starts to get more challenging.

Get the highest GPA you can get, because it gives you room to make errors in classes. Party hard, but study harder.

sfu? that fucking sucks. my friend almost got evicted for having like 10 people in his dorm. my brother also goes there and fucking hates it but is staying because he doesn't want to lose credit if he transfers (their geology program is messed). my friend couldn't handle how shitty all the people in his res were so he's transferring and taking the loss of credit. i think he met like 1 person all year who liked to party.

Treat school like a full time job, 8 hours a day 5 times a week just dedicate to school (including classroom work). If you develop that work ethic, man you will be light years ahead of the curve. 8 hours a day is nothing. It sounds like a lot but you were in high school each day for that long of time. Get yourself to do that and you will create routine for yourself that will be huge for the next 4 years.

You can go out everyday if you want to, just work hard when it matters then just go relax and have fun. Problem is a lot of people don't have a clue what to do with all their free time as they are out of class so much more with respect to high school, they end up wasting so much time doing nothing productive.

Don't fall in love with the first girl that falls into your bed. College girls are easy... There will be plenty of them. Its like AA. Your first year, you should not get involved in a relationship. Dating is off limits. Randoms are fine just don't fall into the first year trap.

Dont major in business and expect a job out of college. Business majors are a dime a dozen, and pretty much a worthless major without a masters (save accounting majors). As someone else stated, try another major with a business minor if possible.

We also used to have Cupcake and Condom Wendsays

Theyd give out cupcakes/pizza/soda, give a ten minute talk on safe sex, and than a envelope of 10-20 condoms + Lube. Worth ten minutes of watching a fellow student play with a dildo.

Back when I was starting college, I was PM'ing the NS Line Skis account about something. I told them I was starting college, and they told me "always wear your flippy floppys in the shower." Never forgot that, it's true. You don't want warts on your feet.

(Granted, there were periods of time that my flip flops were lost or I got lazy, and I failed to wear any.)

Have fun in school. Best 4 years of your life.

DONT be that fucking freshman who is only concerned about raging. Party all you want, whatever…but don't fucking skip class for no reason. Be a fucking man and go to class. Sure you may be tired, hungover, whatever.

your parents/whoever is dishing out the cash for your education are throwing down BIGTIME. they believe in you and know you have some good potential. don't fuck it up like most freshman.

fucking kill school, and fucking kill parties. DOnt regret a single moment.

make friends with the RA or whatever you call them. The person in charge of the floor. Drink with them if possible, that way if some shit goes down they'll be cool and save you a lot of hassle in the long run
