For those of you who have summer setups or went to camps, what new tricks did you learn? I didn't get to go to any camps or indoor skiing facilities but I built a jib setup in my back yard, and I went from not being able to slide a rail to being able to k-fed so I'm pretty fuckin pumped about that. What about you guys?
kinda gonna sound like a claim but I also learned FS and BS switchups, FS and BS 270s outs, both natural and unnatural. Can't 270 on my summer setup without my edges slipping out and eating shit :/
This summer I progressed my bank account which will help in the steeze department come winter. And other than that, I just tried to keep my drinking level where it should be so I won't miss morning skiing due to hangovers.
Really? The first looked like a rodeo 5, the second looked like a switch underflip 5. I could be wrong but it looks like the first one you threw the spin sideways + a 180 and the second one was halfway between a backflip and a lincoln + a 180 which is an underflip 5
went to momentum and got the balls to actually try something other than my stock tricks. 3's and 5's on big jumps and tried going upside down and shit.
I went to hood for a day while visiting family. Attempted my first 7( 3 tries) and couldn't land it. Would have kept trying but they closed:( now I can't wait for the season to land one!
I hit a donkey dick while I was at hood. And O started the summer only able to hit my rail and now I can kfed, front 270, blind 270, dub switch up, and trucker slide
only skied like 3 times but got my handicap down 8 strokes and got 60ish rounds in, and learned backys and fronts and cork 7 and mistys and other n00b tricks on tramp
I made a summer jib setup but I wasn't able to progress as much as I wanted to for two reasons. 1. My parents made me take down my setup after I was done everytime and is a PAIN to set up by yourself. 2. My rail is only 7 feet long which is WAY to short to learn that much new stuff.
But nonetheless it's skiing in the summer so it's still always fun
im sorry but you must either have a really low paying low hour job or have a gas hog diesiel because i worked all summer and came out with 1500 and im in higschool...
I had to pay for half of mine, I am pretty lucky that my parents would pay half though. At camp there were kids who went for more three sessions and didn't have to pay anything, which I think is really dang spoiled.
But I know that me and a lot of the kids I went with had to earn it. Most summer jobs pay enough to get you a session at a camp though...
Learned corks on trampoline and talked about a summer setup with me friends but never did it cuz they are a bunch of dipshits, also I quit football and sat at home everyday
Still in highschool as well, work for minimum wage at dunkin donuts. On top of gas I have to pay for my phone, eventual college, car payment, car insurance, and ski gear. After all that 1500 every couple months is pretty much nothing.
