Need some advice here... Myself and a friend (Australians) are planning to go to Canada and work/ski a couple months somewhere. We will arrive around december 28th so were around for new years and we wanna set ourselves up in a share house with a part time job. The issue is whether we will actually find reasonably priced accommodation... apparently itll be slim pickings at whistler by this time. If we can manage this in whistler please give me some advice! otherwise alternative suggestions as to where we should go would be nice eg. banff, montreal etc......

will be tough to find any decent accommodation (hostel, hotel, rental, anything) in a ski town between Christmas and new years. u will have to book in advance unless you have a place to crash until you sort something. if you are most interested in night life id say whistler or banff yep. again, it will be really hard finding a place to rent starting in January in a ski town with night life. not impossible though i guess.
