and i think humans should realize that it does affect them directly. from raising temperatures, to the foods they eat and the water they drink. it's hard to see but the biggest problem we have is that we notice these affects (like when we complain about how hot it is) yet we will still lock ourselves inside our house and blast the AC and watch tv all day.
it's hard to do but it's about finding a median between consumption and making sacrifices with how much we consume. J.P. Auclair has a great quote in All.I.Can where he says something along the lines of it's not about "just stopping doing what your doing and trying not to breath too much." the point is not to do less of what we are already doing, it's to find alternatives and in turn that will lead to a reduction in consumption.
