I was wondering if anyone does just switch frontflips? I have watched a ton of edits, and cannot recall a single instance of someone doing one. You see plenty of switch rodeos and backflips and all that stuff, but never a front to my knowledge. Why is this?
I use to do them then realised they were dumb as you cant spot the landinng at all. Totally blind the whole time. High risk trick as if you fuck up your gonna catch your tails and smash your back or smash your face from over rotating. Really not worth doing.
In my opinion, the reason not a lot of people do them is because it's a shitty looking trick. Switch backflips are a million times cooler looking. Not saying you should do tricks that just make you look cool, but imo, it's an awkward trick that I don't think looks right. Switch backflips though, those are beyond awesome.
Switch fronts and switch backs are on my to-do list this coming season. I think switch fronts, mistys, underflips and backflips all look really cool. My goal is to just have variety. I probably won't do many doubles in my career but if I can throw everything front and switch I'll be happy.
