Setting up a DSLR filming rig

I'm looking to set up my T3i for some filming this winter. I've been testing out a sigma 10-24mm and think I'll go with that over the tokina 11-16mm. I've got a battery grip, going to be setting it up with magic lantern and have DSLR RC on my phone, just trying to find a Bluetooth adapter that's compatible with Canon. If I cant find that Chainfire has an android controller that runs off a USB connection.
If all goes well I'm going to buy a glidecam hd 4000 off here.
What else should I be looking at for a set up? A matte box with some ND filters? which ones work best?

You definitely don't need a glidecam 4000, get a 2000. Also, a screw on ND filter will work just fine.

Also, if you want the best wide lens for crop cameras, get the tokina 11-16.

Yeah, only go with the 4000 if you're using a really heavy rig. A T3i is too light to really cut it.

can you run a matte box on a glidecam? cause id like to be able to. have a DSLR cage with a handle on top an a quick release so I can pop the cage and handle off for down low shots or to put onto a tripod quickly

get a 1/16 and a 1/64 ND filter. also make sure that you're lens has a very small aperture (F/3+) so that you dont have to keep focusing unless you want a heavy blurred effect then get a f/2- and a follow focus rig

critical accessories:
matte box
external monitor
follow focus
rail system

other than that, in camera mic and kit lens will be ample
