Lets talk the greatest game on earth.
It's back in just a few days now and I'm happier than Jadaveon Clowney in the Tar Heel backfield.
Even though the Northwest can be wet... IT NEVER RAINS IN AUTZEN STADIUM.

Assholes. I now have to root for Bama and FSU now since I want ohio st to get screwed. The thought of OSU screwing Baylor out of the national championship is sickening I don't wanna root for Bama or FSU but I got to now.
You know all Oregon had to do was be down less than 2 TDs in the 4th quarter and Stanford would have folded and given you the game right?
Do you know how hard it is to play with a lead against a team like Oregon? You might be up 3 possessions but that will make the team lose motivation and its killer instinct and the Ducks can get 2 tds in 60 seconds and any time. Stanford would have given you that game.
ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS NOT GIVE THEM A 4 TD LEAD IN THE 4TH QUARTER AND YOU"D HAVE WON.
Mariota played hard the rest of those kids have no heart a truly embarrassing loss and makes you think Orgeon would have gotten their shit packed in if they had made it to any of the recent BCS championship games last few years.

Stanford looked like a national championship team out there. Between the run plays and sold defense, they appeared very Alabama-like.

The thing is, Stanford played Bama style ball. The result? They steamrolled the mighty Oregon for three quarters. Anyone who thought Oregon was national champion material just got proved wrong (to include me).

Orego would have never lost tht game under kelly, not in a million years. Anyone who thought the ducks would be just as good without him were crazy. Kelly was why the ducks were good. They will fall back to obscurity soon enough as losses like this will become more common.

With their talent level I doubt the fall back to obscurity, but there is no doubt that a Chip Kelly coached team would have at least showed up today. A Chip Kelly coached team also wouldn't be spouting off bullshit about not being interested in the Rose Bowl and putting up 40 points on Stanford. Both those statements are fucking ridiculous and the ducks deserve what they get after such a terrible performance today.
I am disappointed as a ducks fan, but more than anything, I am embarrassed for those guys. They packed the season in and Helfrich just let it happen. Lots to still play for - 5 straight BCS bowls would have been quite the accomplishment - so to just write the season off as a failure like some of them obviously have is a huge disappointment. Same shit with UCS last year. Just no effort or heart.
Tons of talent, but there is a lot that needs to happen on the coaching end for them to continue to stay relevant.

^yep. They threw in the towel. Losses like these will accumlate over the next few years and top talent will return to USC. Its only a matter of time

Probably not. Nike still dumps millions into the program and they will continue to have no problem recruiting because of it

Exactly. Still awesome AZ won. PAC12 is one giant roller coaster ride.
Also lol at Oregon State. Go Dawgs!

So when is the FSU guy finally going to be arrested for the rape? Before or after the idiots give him the heisman that AJ McCarron deserve?

Have you visited that new athletic "facility"?
That fucking thing is insane, and probably enough to keep convincing good players to keep coming.
Helfrich needs to get his shit together, and our run defense is pitiful. I miss Chip Kelly and Darron Thomas. For all the Heisman bullshit they've spouted about Mariota, when shit needed to get done and our backs were against the wall, DT handled his shit.

No but have you visited SCs trophy room where they have like 11 Heismans. Money cant hang with tradition. OkSt has just as much money as UO and they will never come close to being OU.
Chip Kelly made oregon. They are simply a shell of the teams the were the last few years. Kelly was amazing and I think every single duck fan didnt appreciate what he did. You all credit nike. Was nike giving speeches at half time? Did nike create the most explosive offensive scheme college football had ever seen?
It was all kelly. I would even credit Belotti before nike. Belotti, or maybe the ad, picked hime up as the oc.
Im glad kelly is gone obviously but damn was he good at what he did. No chance in hell his team would have gotten blown out by what, a 6-5, arizona team?
And yea, my beavs shit the bed. Oh well

Is Nuetrella nation planning on scoring?
Baylor also got an overdue spanking tonight.

Apparently so, although I guess everyone who looks at the score will think they kicked two field goals instead of a TD with a mixed extra point...

lololololol nuetrella state. lllolololollololooool
Awesome burn guy.
Besides, everyone knows we havent made a fg since serna left. Remember when he kicked like 6 fgs to beat the fuskies? It might not stand out because the fuskies went like 6 straight seasons winning 2 games so the losses kinda blend together.

Might have been the season we went 0-12. Never were a nationally ranked team that year either.
Do you think Sark is debating over bringin in the entire Bellevue HS team to give them some college play time right now?

Maybe. I know Jesuit has played the second half of nearly every UO/UW and OSU/UW game for the last decade or so.

Kelly was a huge part of it for sure, but also a team with more humble, stand-out talent. The superhuman efforts of LaMichael James cannot easily be forgotten (and to a lesser extent, Kenjon Barner). In a game like yesterday, James would've gotten the first downs and big plays that evaded Deanthony. Also the efforts on defense from guys like Casey Matthews, Jordan Homes and Spencer Paysinger, and later Dion Jordan and Kiko Alonso. Those guys aren't easy to replace. The last couple of games the defense has looked lost and confused. Our lines are weak on both sides. There's no real stand-out performances.
Anyway, next week should be interesting, we'll see if they respond like last year's USC team.

I have a feeling there will be no charges on Winston. If they had something on him, they would have done it by now I would think. Out of curiosity, why do you think McCarron should get the heisman over Winston?

Beavs put up a good fight out there, but at the end of the day the big brother wins the fight. A somewhat somber GoDucks.

I got to admit it was a great game but it seems that the Ducks are losing some of their edge.

the guys just kind of gave up after the stanford loss. Marcus' knee injury and lack of mobility that game really threw a wrench in the season. Helfrich will learn to rally the troops as his HC career goes on.

my prediction: TCU will pull an upset over 9th ranked Baylor.

stfu with this big brother crap, it just makes you seem like a brat. Both teams played sloppy but it was a great game.
lol at thinking helfrich will figure it out. Chip is gone and so are the days of oregon being ranked in the top 5 every week. Be happy you at least had some time at the top.... Well, close to the top at least

This is why I think that Oregon is falling off. Chip Kelly made Oregon into a well developed football program. With him gone I have noticed a lot of changes even it seems that there tempo is not as fast and there not as disciplined.

Agreed it was one hell of a game.
Wishful thinking my friend, I'm looking forward to a year older Marcus Mariota next season, he's going to be something else.

They are a shell of a Kelly team. Just look at the attitudes of the players. Not even close. Any duck fan who thinks all will be the same is so delusional.

other than Oregon, nobody gives a fuck about non-SEC teams. stop talking about Oregon state the school and the football team are both shit.

It's a more talented group than any Kelly coached team, especially at QB. Chip went 10-2 his first season and had the LeGarrette Blount fiasco. Helfrich just needs to learn to motivate the guys better. As you said we came out flat in every game after stanford, but that can be fixed.

Yea, they are kellys players and they are not living up to what kelly would get out of them. Thanks for helping prove my point?
You dont learn to be a motivational speaker, either you are or you arent. Kelly was, this new guy isnt.
I dont want to make things personal here but why are you on NS right now after a home civil war win? Pretty sure there are plenty of parties tonight and its friday. Cmon man...get with it

Couldn't make it back up from California in time for the game. One drawback of having it the friday after thanksgiving.

Shame on that selfish OSU player not going down after the first and running into the end zone. Total selfish prick move.
Oregon was clearly letting them score intentionally once they got inside FG range the Ducks weren't tacking anything past the line of scrimmage on that play. Kids a fucking idiot. In Autzen you milk the clock and kick a fg.
Mannion played excellent the Ducks didn't deserve to win that one. The new coach is awful they should have uncle Phil throw a bag of money at Mike Leach.
I was shocked being somewhat closeby to Oregon here in the Reno casinos during the game (always a surprisingly large amount of Beaver fans repping here) that duck fans were boasting and bragging so much after that game. Most of them must have taken points and bet OSU.

Shut up you complete moron. SEC football is stale and not exciting and the only player worth watching in it JOhnny Football didn't play at a Heisman level this year. Shitty ass Missou ran through that joke league because they got a lucky soft schedule.
Pac 12 is hands down the #2 strongest conference and has been the most exciting this year. Outside of Cal and COlorado every single Pac 12 team has been fun to watch and has had some really big moments.
Pac 12 is closer to the SEC than the #3 conference is to it. FACT.
Sadly though its because the Big Ten successully destroyed the Big 12. And the ACC sucks more dick than ever if you take away FSU (its great as a Syracuse fan though WAAAAYYYYYY easier winning 6 games here than the old Big East and if we got stuck in this AAC with Uconn and Memphis we'd have 2 fewer wins at least so I love the ACC from my angle but it fucking blows outside of the Noles.)

*joke half of the league I was calling the SEC East a joke not the SEC as a whole. BUt scheduling wise it is a joke when you see how easy a schedule Missou gets and then look at what Ole Miss or AtM play.
